Artist's Comments

In two or three thousand years, how will our writing systems be seen? Will they still be in use? Will our languages be extinct?
If any metal signs or bumper stickers from our current times resurface in an archaeological dig in AD 5015, do you think they'll know what "DANGER HIGH VOLTAGE" means? Will they assume it was some sort of temple?

You know what would make a cool font? Jefferson script. The writing style that they used on the Declaration of Independence.

This is an interesting question to pose indeed. How will we be viewed? What conclusions will future historians come to, if we have some sort of apocolypse that leaves only bits and pieces of our current history behind?

Another great Vic Fieger font, and a great question to think about.
I salute you for both of these things. *thumbs up*

I'd like to think they'd be in awe at our technological advancements; instantaneous global communication, laser eye surgery, mapping of the human genome.
But, I guess the Romans were pretty proud of their heated baths, so it's all relative.

Well, I do pay a lot of attention to the site in question. I just happened to remember this font was there.
:icondarkinja125:
I'm glad you did.

Too bad they don't have number's for it, though.
"In Congress, XXXX,"
